Alexandra Dariescu, the visionary pianist behind "The Nutcracker and I," joins Music and Artistic Director Dane Lam and your HSO for a Brahms Festival love triangle. Immerse yourself in the music and the profound, fiery love story binding three of history’s most intertwined musical souls—a story only music could ever reveal. Dariescu performs Clara Schumann’s Piano Concerto, presented alongside the works of Robert Schumann, a world premiere by HSO’s Composer in Residence Michael-Thomas Foumai, and Brahms’ First Symphony—a triumph and love story 21 years in the making.
