Partner with your HSO to keep the magic of live orchestral music alive by sponsoring a musician’s chair. Our artists pour their heart and soul into every performance, moving and inspiring audiences. As a sponsor, you forge a deeper connection to the music you love — while playing a vital role in sustaining our legacy of excellence.

Your support ensures that every performance begins, every note resonates, and the tradition of live symphonic music in Hawai‘i endures.

Please note: Sponsorship contributions support the HSO Annual Fund, which sustains our musicians and makes our programming possible. While your gift honors a specific musician, it helps fund the orchestra as a whole, ensuring every performance is brought to life.  

When you sponsor a musician, you become a vital part of the HSO’s story. You help keep each musician on stage, each note resonant, and each performance unforgettable.

In addition to the great feeling you’ll get by supporting an HSO musician, sponsor benefits include:

  • A commemorative photo with your sponsored musician

  • Name acknowledgment on our website and in the program book

  • Recognition in our annual report

Sponsorships begin at $1,200 annually (just $100/month), with levels that offer meaningful ways to contribute:

  • Section Players – $1,200

  • Associate Principals – $2,500

  • Section Principals – $4,000

  • Assistant Concertmaster – $2,500

  • Associate Concertmaster – $5,000

  • Concertmaster - $10,000

Please note: Sponsorship of Music & Artistic Director Dane Lam is not currently included in this program. If you are interested in learning more about his chair endowment, please inquire with our Advancement team.
