Enter a world of lush melodies, radiant colors, and sweeping emotion as the Hawaiʻi Symphony Orchestra presents an evening of musical beauty and discovery.

Principal Clarinetist of the New York Philharmonic Anthony McGill joins Music and Artistic Director Dane Lam for Copland’s Clarinet Concerto—a playful and lyrical masterpiece filled with warmth, elegance, and expressive charm.

The program opens with the Hawaiʻi premiere of New Zealand composer Salina Fisher’s Kintsugi, a luminous reflection on transformation, resilience, and the beauty found in imperfection. The evening culminates with Rachmaninoff’s Symphony No. 2, a deeply romantic work filled with yearning melodies, expansive orchestral landscapes, and some of the most beloved passages in the symphonic repertoire.

From delicate moments of reflection to soaring waves of sound, this concert invites you to be immersed in music that is radiant, emotional, and deeply human.
