HSO at Home: HapaSymphony Featuring Raiatea Helm

From our stage to your home

Raiatea Helm reunites with your Hawai'i Symphony Orchestra and conductor Michael-Thomas Foumai for an all-new program of her favorite traditional mele recorded live at the Historic Hawaii Theatre.

Her authentic “leo ki'eki'e” (Female falsetto) and ukulele playing have dazzled audiences all over the world. Moloka'i native Raiatea continues to champion mele while educating the next generation on Hawai'i’s rich history through traditional song and dance.
